Camera control
Our latest monitors and monitor-recorders have USB-C ports, which enable them to control a range of hybrid (photo + video) cameras. They currently support models from Canon, Panasonic, Sony, Fujifilm, and Nikon, including popular lines like the EOS R and D-Series, LUMIX, Sony Alpha, Fujifilm X-Series, and Nikon Z-Series.
Support is continually expanding through firmware updates, and in most cases, your camera should work with the Camera Control feature if it supports tethered shooting over USB-C and is running the latest firmware.
A good way to check this is to see whether your camera works with the brand’s official tethering software, for example: Canon EOS Utility, Panasonic LUMIX Tether, Sony Alpha Imaging Edge Desktop, Fujifilm X Acquire, or Nikon NX Tether.
Touch to focus is supported on selected monitors and monitor-recorders.
