New integration sends camera originals and proxies directly to ATOMOSphere while adding certified Apple ProRes RAW decoding.

By Atomos

Melbourne, Australia – 11th September 2026: Atomos (7.B19) today announced a new integration between its ATOMOSphere cloud platform and Imagine Products’ ShotPut Studio, giving production teams a faster, more automated way to transfer, transcode and organize media.

Users can now connect ShotPut Studio directly to their ATOMOSphere account and access ATOMOSphere workspaces, projects and folders from within the ShotPut Studio interface. Projects and subfolders can then be added as destinations in automated workflows, allowing camera originals and proxy files to be sent directly to ATOMOSphere.

ATOMOSphere is a cloud-based production ecosystem designed for video professionals, photographers, and content creators. It enables users to upload, store, edit, share, review, and collaborate on media from anywhere in the world.

The ShotPut Studio integration streamlines the journey from camera media to the cloud by bringing file transfer, verification, transcoding, and delivery into a single automated workflow. Instead of manually copying and uploading files in separate stages, users can build repeatable workflows that deliver content to the appropriate ATOMOSphere destination.

“Fast, secure and reliable media handling is essential for every production,” said Peter Barber, CEO of Atomos. “Connecting ShotPut Studio with ATOMOSphere allows filmmakers and production teams to move camera originals and proxies into the cloud as part of an automated workflow. Combined with certified ProRes RAW support, it creates a smooth and efficient route from capture to collaboration.”

“ATOMOS has played a major role in making ProRes RAW a practical acquisition format for filmmakers and production teams,” said Mark Hudgins, COO at Imagine Products. “With ShotPut Studio, users can now take that footage from their ATOMOS recorder, securely manage and verify the original media, transcode it when needed, and deliver it directly to ATOMOSphere.

By automating repetitive media-management tasks, the integration can help production teams reduce manual handling, maintain a consistent folder structure, and make footage available to collaborators sooner. Camera originals can be securely transferred to ATOMOSphere while smaller proxy files are generated and delivered for remote review or editorial workflows.
