Qualified USB-C media
Supported products: Ninja RAW, Ninja TX GO, Ninja TX, Shogun AV-19, Sumo PRO-19
These models support a range of USB-C flash media drives; however many of these devices cannot sustain the continuous write performance required for high-quality video recording. Some lower-cost drives hit high speeds in short bursts but slow down significantly once their fast cache fills, causing recordings to fail.
The key factor is the sustained sequential write speed of the device, which is the drive’s ability to write at the required speed across the entire drive for the full duration of recording. To ensure recording stability, ensure you are using a USB-C cable rated to support the bandwidth required by your media device. Not all USB-C cables support high-speed data transfer, even if they fit physically.
The following devices have been certified for recording up to a maximum of DCI 4K60 ProRes HQ and are not recommended for RAW recording.
