Ninja TX certified media & accessories
Ninja TX models (TX and TX GO) can support CFexpress Type B removable media or USB-C 3.1+ external media. Since recording high quality video requires high performance, and media performance can vary significantly between vendors and models, we strongly recommend using one of the qualified models listed below.

In addition to these Atomos tested cards, we recommend consulting with the Compact Flash Association list of VPG-Certified Media Cards for a list of cards tested for minimum sustained write performance that matches or exceeds your requirements. Both Ninja TX models support a range of USB-C flash media drives; however many of these devices cannot sustain the continuous write performance required for high-quality video recording on the Ninja TX/TX GO. Some lower-cost drives hit high speeds in short bursts but slow down significantly once their fast cache fills, causing recordings to fail. The key factor is the sustained sequential write speed of the device, which is the drive’s ability to write at the required speed across the entire drive for the full duration of recording. To ensure recording stability, ensure you are using a USB-C cable rated to support the bandwidth required by your media device. Not all USB-C cables support high-speed data transfer, even if they fit physically. The following devices have been certified for recording up to a maximum of DCI 4K60 ProRes HQ and are not recommended for RAW recording. Ninja TX models should be compatible with most USB-C Gigabit and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet adapters. They are compatible with both the Realtek and ASIX chipsets found in many brands of adapter. The following USB-C Ethernet modules have been specifically qualified for use with the TX: Ninja TX models should be compatible with any 65W capable USB-C PD charger. To ensure reliable power delivery, use a USB-C cable rated for 65W (or higher) power delivery. USB-C cables vary in their power-handling capabilities, and using an under-rated cable may result in insufficient power or unstable operation.
