Atomos Expands Accessory Ecosystem with New SHAPE and SmallRig Solutions

Purpose-built mounting, protection and viewing accessories introduced for Sumo PRO-19 and Shinobi 7 II.

By Atomos

Melbourne, Australia – 11th September 2026: Atomos (7.B19) today announced new third-party accessories for Sumo PRO-19 and Shinobi 7 II, developed by SHAPE and SmallRig to give production teams more ways to configure and protect their Atomos monitors.

SHAPE has designed the Yoke Mount Push Button Kit for Atomos Sumo PRO-19, a professional mounting system that provides secure support and precise tilt adjustment in studio, on-set and mobile production environments. The kit includes a top plate with a briefcase-style carrying handle, two side plates, and a sunhood. The side plates connect the monitor to a horizontal tube bracket assembly, while integrated hook-and-loop strips secure the sunhood around the display to help reduce glare and reflections.

The mount incorporates SHAPE’s push-button adjustment system, allowing the monitor to tilt through 170 degrees forward and backward in four-degree increments. Once the preferred viewing angle has been selected, a locking knob holds the monitor securely in position.

A baby-pin receiver enables the complete assembly to be mounted on a C-stand, camera cart or other compatible production support. The system supports loads of up to 20lb/10kg.

SmallRig is also expanding its range with two purpose-built accessories for Atomos monitors.

The SmallRig Shinobi 7 II Cage Kit with Sunhood provides added protection, mounting options and improved daylight screen visibility for Atomos’ new 7-inch, 2800nit HDR monitor.

For Sumo PRO-19, the SmallRig Sumo PRO-19 Sunhood helps shield the display from unwanted ambient light, improving visibility in bright studios and on-location environments.

“Production monitors are often used at the center of complex rigs, so purpose-built accessories can make a significant difference to how quickly and securely they can be deployed,” said Peter Barber, Atomos CEO. “These new solutions from SHAPE and SmallRig give Sumo PRO-19 and Shinobi 7 II users greater flexibility to build configurations suited to their individual productions.”

The introduction of these accessories reflects the growing third-party ecosystem around Atomos products, giving filmmakers, broadcasters and production teams access to practical solutions designed specifically for their monitoring equipment.
