PWR’d by Atomos

PWR is a creator organisation behind some of the biggest gaming and lifestyle content online, reaching more than 70 million followers across its channels. What started as one-person setup has grown into a full production team, and Atomos has been there for every step of that journey.

Lachlan Power first picked up a Ninja in 2017. He needed a reliable monitor‑recorder for his growing YouTube channel, and Ninja became the tool he trusted to deliver high-quality content. Today, he leads PWR, producing large-scale, multi-camera content on a completely different level.

As PWR has grown, so has the ambition behind their productions. They work with large sets, multiple cameras running at once, and content that reaches audiences in the tens of millions. To keep everything running smoothly, the team has built Atomos into their workflow, relying on Ninjas and Atomos TX‑RX wireless transmitters across everything they shoot. As they explain: “Atomos has helped us build a more confident and flexible production workflow. Their monitors and wireless transmitters have played a huge role in helping us capture better content, move faster on set, and bring bigger creative ideas to life. When a take goes wrong, you can fix it. When the gear goes wrong, you can’t.”

Atomos TX-RX has become essential for PWR’s big multi‑camera productions. This compact transmitter‑receiver system sends a camera’s video feed wirelessly to a monitor, giving the crew a live view without running long cables across the set. On fast-moving video series like Hide and Seek, Race to Unreal, and Among Us In Real Life, TX‑RX helps the team keep track of every camera across large spaces. It also means players who are out of the round can still follow the action as it unfolds.

Because PWR’s creators often direct themselves on camera, their workflow needs are different from a traditional production. Talent often sets their own framing and movement, adjusting their performance on-the-move. Ninja’s bright, high‑definition display gives creators a clear front‑facing view of their shot, while the operator monitors the same feed from the built-in screen. Everyone sees what they need without slowing the shoot down.

“Atomos products have helped us build a more confident and flexible production workflow.”

Atomos’ A‑Eye PTZ cameras are the newest additions to PWR’s setup, and they’ve changed how the team works. These compact, remotely controlled cameras can pan, tilt, and zoom without an operator behind them, helping the crew see clearly and reframe instantly during fast‑paced scenes. Using NDI and OBS, the PTZ cameras allow PWR’s production team to remotely access and control every camera feed from anywhere in the world, giving them more flexibility in how they produce broadcasts, as the team isn’t required to be physically on-site to operate the cameras. “They’ve opened up new options for our livestreams,” the team explains. “Being able to control our cameras remotely means we can operate more flexibly, even when not everyone’s at the shoot. It makes it the perfect tech for our team.”

The PTZ cameras have also found their way into PWR’s main channel content. In their We Built a Secret Gaming Room video, PWR creator Loserfruit used one of the PTZ cameras to remotely monitor the talent and capture their reactions from her own computer, creating fun, spontaneous moments that would’ve been much harder to achieve with a traditional camera setup.

In 2026, PWR opened the PWR House, a purpose‑built creator facility designed for the next stage of their content. The space is fully equipped with Ninja TX monitor‑recorders, Atomos TX‑RX transmitters, A‑Eye PTZ cameras, and StudioSonic microphones. This setup allowed the team to plug the receiver directly into their broadcast PC via USB‑C and wirelessly transmit audio within minutes. It’s now a permanent, scalable workflow that lets the team expand their productions without bringing in additional equipment. As the team sums it up: “What we love about Atomos gear is that it just makes ambitious ideas easier to pull off. Whether we’re rigging cameras for a hide‑and‑seek video, running a livestream, or setting up a hidden‑camera style shoot, Atomos gives us more creative freedom without needing a huge crew.”
