The latest chapter of filming began in Plymouth, where “Rather than sunshine, we were met with relentless downpours and grey skies,” Charlotte explained. The crew travelled to meet archaeologist and TV consultant Mallory Haas, conducting interviews around Plymouth Harbour – a location steeped in maritime history and once familiar to Henry Avery himself.
The shift in environment required a change in exposure strategy. “Previously, I was focused on avoiding overexposure under intense sunlight. Here, my concern shifted to underexposure in flat, overcast conditions,” she said. Contributors often wore dark clothing, making exposure even more challenging. “Ninja TX’s false color feature allowed me to accurately monitor exposure levels and make precise adjustments before rolling.”
Despite the gloom, Ninja TX’s 1500‑nit brightness and 1920×1080 resolution display ensured clear visibility at all times. “Visibility remained strong throughout, with no issues from glare or poor lighting,” Charlotte noted. “It handled the transition from bright island environments to muted urban landscapes really well.”
