The CBKZ-FS5RIF unlocks the powerful RAW output functionality of the the FS5, increasing its output to a maximum 12 Bit 4K DCI at 120fps.
Boasting the same sensor as it’s larger sibling the PXW-FS7 and even bigger brother PMW-F5 you can generate stunning images by recording to visually lossless codecs like Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR as full I frames ready for Post Production.

Simple OS, Sophisticated Shots

Alongside the advanced RAW recording and HDR monitoring functionality the Atomos Shogun Inferno provides a raft of precision scopes for perfect shot setup every time

With AtomHDR and Sony’s Slog 2 & Slog 3 you can monitor the RAW output with 10+ Stops of dynamic range in real time for more accurate monitoring & accurate exposure control.

Additionally, connect the Shogun Inferno to your laptop to see Slog from your NLE in HDR quality (PQ/HDR10 or HLG) for portable SDR/HDR monitoring.

Users with the Version 5 update for the FS5 can also output and record Hybrid Log Gamma directly from the camera for an immediate HDR deliverable.

Afforable Media Options

Recording at higher resolutions, frame rates and bit rates substantially drives up media costs. Atomos recorders use off-the-shelf SSD media allowing you to create 4K content for the price of HD. There are SSD drives approved specifically for RAW and 4Kp60 workflows (including Sony’s own SSD G media) - just head to to see the full list of compatible drives.

Edit friendly Apple Pro-Res

4K and HD high bitrate, visually lossless codecs free you from the limitations of Long GOP recording compression found in most cameras. Apart from the quality advantage of recording externally, the dual recording workflow allows the lower bit rate internal recording to be used as a client copy or backup.
