Apple ProRes RAW support in Adobe Premiere Pro

We are delighted to inform our users that as of today, Adobe has released ProRes RAW support in Premiere Pro.

ProRes RAW combines the flexibility of RAW video with the incredible performance of ProRes. These RAW files provide maximum flexibility for adjusting the look of your video, while extending brightness and shadow detail.

Atomos was the first brand to release ProRes RAW recording and together with partners like Sony, Panasonic, Nikon and Z-Cam have been steadily growing camera support for ProRes RAW but until recently the choice of editing software had been limited to Apple Final Cut Pro X or Grass Valley Edius. This announcement by Adobe significantly expands the editing options for ProRes RAW, further enhancing the eco system.
